After seeing a big upset in the 1st round where Dimitrij lost against Oshima Yuya from Japan, we have another upset. Grand slam champion, Zhang Jike lost in second round against Chuang Chih Yuan 4 games to 2. Chuang managed to win first three sets with close score - 11:8 11:9 11:9. Then Zhang finally found a way to take 2 sets in a row from Chuang. In 5th set at score of 3:1 in sets and 8:7 in favour of Chuang, Zhang confirmed why he is known as man of iron nerves. He won 4 points in a row and managed to win 5th set. But Chuang Chih Yuan is a player with experience. He didn't let Zhang more than 2 sets. Eventually, Chuang won 4:2

Chuang Chih Yuan is to face Oshima Yuya from Japan in 1/4 finals. I think it will be a close match. Even though we haven't heard of Oshima Yuya before, he did beat Dimitri Ovtcharov in the 1st round, and his compatriot Koki Niwa in the 2nd round.
